The ITU&nbsp;logo&nbsp;forms an essential part of the Union\u2019s institutional image and property. As such, it is protected under the provisions of Article 6ter of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property.<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. The ITU&nbsp;logo&nbsp;may therefore not be used without the prior written consent of the Secretary-General or his\/her representative duly authorized to that effect. Any written request to use the Union\u2019s&nbsp;logo&nbsp;must be duly substantiated (detailed information regarding the reasons for the request, manner in which it is intended to use the&nbsp;logo&nbsp;including details of the supports (electronic, paper, etc.) to be used, and possible use of other&nbsp;logos alongside that of ITU, as well as the precise contact details of the person making the request, etc.) and sent in a timely manner to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:branding@itu.int\">branding@itu.int<\/a>&nbsp;or:<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Corporate Communication Division, ITU&nbsp;<br>Place des Nations&nbsp;<br>CH \u2013 1211 Geneva 20<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Without prejudice to a detailed, case-by-case study of each request, authorization to use the Union\u2019s&nbsp;logo&nbsp;WILL NOT BE GRANTED in the following cases:<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Use in connection with products or commercial services;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Use in a manner inconsistent with the purposes and goals of the Union;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Use in a manner that is liable, in the Secretary-General\u2019s view, to damage the Union\u2019s image, reputation, neutrality or intergovernmental character and image of the Plenipotentiary Conference;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Use for electoral purposes.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Where authorization is granted, the&nbsp;logo&nbsp;must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down, and within the limits established, in the letter of authorization. Under no circumstances, however, may the&nbsp;logo&nbsp;or any of its constituent elements (such as format, proportions, graphic design, colours, etc.) be altered, adapted, or modified.<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PP-26 Conference&nbsp;logo<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Use of the&nbsp;logo&nbsp;created especially for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2026 (the \u201cConference\u201d) is likewise subject to prior written authorization from the Union\u2019s Secretary-General or his representative duly authorized to that effect. Any written request to use the Conference\u2019s&nbsp;logo&nbsp;must be duly substantiated (detailed information regarding the reasons for the request, manner in which it is intended to use the&nbsp;logo&nbsp;including details of the supports (electronic, paper, etc.) to be used, and possible use of other&nbsp;logos alongside that of ITU, as well as the precise contact details of the person making the request, etc.) and sent in a timely manner to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:branding@itu.int\">branding@itu.int<\/a>&nbsp;or:<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Corporate Communication Division, ITU&nbsp;<br>Place des Nations&nbsp;<br>CH \u2013 1211 Geneva 20<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cases listed in \u00a7 3 above in which requests for authorization will not be granted also apply to the Conference logo in its entirety.<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Subject to the foregoing, authorization will, in principle, be granted where the Secretary-General considers that the usage is conducive to achievement of the Conference\u2019s mandate or seeks to promote its work.<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where authorization is granted, the&nbsp;logo&nbsp;must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down, and within the limits established, in the letter of authorization.
