Please review <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/en\/newsroom\/accreditation\/Pages\/default.aspx\" rel=\"noopener\">ITU guidelines<\/a> to ensure you qualify before requesting media accreditation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><strong>ITU media accreditation<\/strong><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Submit your accreditation request <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/crmapp\/applications\/event-registration\/?target=registration&amp;eventid=C-00016945\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. A user guide is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/en\/newsroom\/accreditation\/Pages\/registration.aspx\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> for reference. UN-accredited reporters with a valid UN badge can also request accreditation by writing to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:pressreg@itu.int\">pressreg@itu.int<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Send your valid credentials by email to <a href=\"mailto:pressreg@itu.int\">pressreg@itu.int<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Receive a confirmation email with your unique registration ID.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><strong>Hayya Media Portal (HMP)<\/strong> <strong>\u2013 only for reporters already accredited by ITU<\/strong><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>After ITU confirms your accreditation, all media \u2013 including UN-accredited reporters \u2013 register via Qatar\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/media.hayya.qa\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Hayya Media Portal<\/a> for e-visa, filming permit, and equipment clearance.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Create an account on HMP and select \u201c<em>26 International Telecommunication Union Plenipotentiary Conference PP<\/em>\u201d from the event list. A user guide is available <a href=\"https:\/\/sahayyacrossingprod.blob.core.windows.net\/web-assests\/hmp\/HMP_EVENT-user-mannual.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> for reference.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Complete the form using your unique ITU registration ID provided on your ITU media accreditation confirmation letter (referred to as a &#8220;Registration Reference Number&#8221; on HMP)<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>For technical support, please contact <a href=\"mailto:media@hayya.qa\">media@hayya.qa<\/a> and copy <a href=\"mailto:pressreg@itu.int\">pressreg@itu.int<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reporters are encouraged to apply early to allow time for verification and receive important updates in the run-up to the conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Access and remote coverage<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Information about sessions open to reporters, press events, and their respective schedules will be shared closer to the event. A webcast will also be available for remote coverage. Press access to PP-26 activities is provided at the discretion of ITU Member States and can be rescinded without advance notice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important to note<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Official photographers, videographers, and communication professionals employed by delegations must register as \u201cdelegates\u201d and will not be issued a media badge.
